I love how the right light can turn something ordinary into something beautiful. My mom had this basket of plumbs sitting on the carport. I have no idea why they were there, but it seemed like a good picture at the time.

This picture represents two very happy things for me. The first relates to photography - This was the first subject I shot with my newest piece of glass. Oh how I love this lens. The second relates to my job - These cupcakes were made for "No Frownies Friday." We take turns and make food for work each Friday. The hope is that we start the weekend off on the right foot.
