taking it all in

taking it all in


I was a fan of photography long before I tried it seriously. I also was on flickr a lot and saw what the locals were doing. When I jumped in with both feet I trained myself not to see it just like everyone else did. I'm not saying I don't walk away with the same shots most of the time, but I'm always looking for a new way to see it.

I took a lot of the standard pictures at the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas, Nevada. Then I saw something a bit different once I stepped back. Finding ways to make people silhouettes isn't the easiest thing. You have to find an interesting backdrop and something that keeps them interested long enough there isn't motion blur.
