This was taken in the abandoned Blytheville Laundry Cleaners in Arkansas. The place has special meaning for me, because it's actually where my dad's parents met! It's sad to see places like this burned/abandoned. The light in here had a life if it's own though.

  1. Sad yes, but it looks like you got not only a nice image out of the place but an image that means something to you. I think from now on I am going to have you write captions for all of my photos. You are very good at it.

    By the way did your Dads parents meet in some sort of movie or song? Meeting at a cleaners seems a little cliche.

  2. LOL. Given that they divorced a few years after marriage, I'd say the only thing cliche about their relationship was the meeting. They actually both worked here back in the day.
